What is Coaching? Coaching is a professional relationship between two individuals (the coach and the client) that assists one individual (the client) in achieving personal and/or professional goals in an accelerated manner. By nature, it is very similar to athletic coaching -- the coach supports the client in manifesting his/her highest potential and in attaining agreed-upon goals. Coaches are hired to assist someone in career transition, to clarify vision, improve communication skills, to realize a dream, to grow a small business, or to climb the corporate ladder. A coach encourages, stretches, challenges, questions, and above all, consistently honors, respects, and unconditionally supports a client in growing and achieving his/her goals. The coaching relationship is a transformational process that inevitably results in growth for the client.

Who Needs A Coach? Tiger Woods has one. So did Michael Jordan. So do Olympians, titans of industry, and leaders of nations. Anyone that is up to something extraordinary has someone behind them coaching them to be better than they think they can be.

How Does Coaching Work?

We’ll begin with a complimentary sample session to see if we think we’d like to work together and so you can get the flavor of coaching.

After that: Ongoing personal coaching includes three 40 minute telephone conversations per month which we’ll schedule in advance, preferably at the same time each week. (Some clients prefer two 60 minute sessions; the choice is yours.) The monthly fee is due in advance, by the first of each month.
