Katrina M. Mayer, Ph.D. has been involved in the motivational field for over 20 years. From developing programs for major corporations to working one-on-one, Katrina is a leader in leadership coaching.
Her first foray into the motivational field was in 1987 when she began working for the world’s leading provider of employee recognition solutions. She helped design and create employee recognition programs for almost five years. Katrina worked with dozens of companies in the New York area, meeting with top executives to implement programs to motivate their employees.
In 1994 Katrina began a career in banking and over time obtained her Series 7, 63, 24, Life, Accident and Health licenses. This allowed her to become a financial advisor. She met with hundreds of clients and gave seminars on financial planning to audiences of up to 400 people. After years of helping clients with their finances, she transitioned into the role of regional manager. In this position, Katrina became mentor, coach, teacher and leader to hundreds of bank employees. There is no better place to learn how to coach than out in the field on a day-to-day basis. Katrina has coached employees on sales, customer service, product knowledge, and most of all she coached them to become better leaders and enjoy what they were doing.
In 2000, Katrina published The Mustard Seed Way and has written many articles on wellness and healthy lifestyles. In addition to writing, she lectures nationally on success and leadership principals. Her enthusiasm has inspired five-year-olds to eighty-five-year-olds alike. She assists her clients to discover what they really want in life and encourages them to go after it.
Currently Katrina is working on her second book as well as a collection of children’s poems. She was born and raised in New York and loves spending time in the city as well as taking long walks through the hills upstate.
